Dining table*/
Personal project
Summary
I spend my days designing for other brands, and it was time to do something unique for my own space, which is basically the dream of every designer.
A dining table that will only live in my house. A statement in form, a piece that speaks for itself and sets the tone of the room.

Form
The thin edges are inspired by Japanese design techniques, while keeping a western contemporary look, with a semi-matte open-pore finish that lets the wood grain peek through.
The legs are where the table finds its character. They don’t stand straight, they open with a slight angle and a curve, just enough to trick the eye into reading something balanced and still a little intriguing.

Why
There is nothing I love more than hosting, and creating a safe space for my loved ones to share a meal. I wanted a generous table, one that could hold a long evening and still have room for everyone. A piece you sit around, not just look at.
Because some objects are meant to speak for themselves.

Role
Personal project. Product design.
