Summary

TechnoConnect is an ecosystem I designed at a Domus Academy 2022 workshop with Mary Murphy and Emine Asude Cirkan. Wellness as a full day, not a thirty-minute box to tick. Outdoors, at home, with other people. Not only in the gym.

High-end gym equipment already exists, mostly behind closed doors. What was missing was a way to take wellness with you, to include more than the person who can afford the club, and to meet someone there. We designed the objects that carry that.

Context

The brief was Wellness 360. People already treat parks as meeting points. They do this work alone and in groups. They plan a slot and then the rest of the day is something else. We wanted the rest of the day.

The Collection

Fellow travels with you. Account, check-in, speaker, the key to the rest of the system.

Welly stays at home. At night, reflection. In the morning, light, then the day’s plan when you put your hand in. You take Fellow and leave.

In the world: Pillar, wherever you are, office or outside. Vault, a place to leave what you’re carrying. Core, the hub for the group, then out into an activity. You come home having had a full wellness day.
